Women Wake Up (WOWAP) is a Tanzanian non-governmental organisation (NGO) which is fighting against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in our country. Despite the fact it is forbidden in Tanzania since 1998 there are thousands of young women being mutilated every year.
