GroupLoop is a collaboration tool designed for organizations or committees who need a secure place to centralize information but don’t necessarily share a physical location. It particularly targets Chambers of Commerce and nonprofits that need to collaborate with a Board of Directors. Features include threaded messaging, file sharing, a calendar with RSVP handling for events (plus Outlook and iCal integration), and a directory for other group members’ contact information. In essence, GroupLoop aims to give these group an alternative to email for tasks that email doesn’t handle well.
