Growing rapidly and gaining international respect, this innovative company is looking to hire four web developers with experience on Ruby on Rails, which can include personal use! You’ll be designing, developing and maintaining interesting applications in different domains. Required Qualifications & Skills: Professional and/ or personal experience developing web applications in any web application framework with an eye for clean design (Web 2.0) Professional and/ or personal experience in CSS, PERL, AJAX, JavaScript, PHP, XHTML, DHTML, SMALLTALK and PYTHON. Excellent communication skills: verbal, email correspondence, provide feedback and present solutions. Ability to work independently. Extremely out-going personality and a willingness to learn. Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Preference will be given to individuals who are tech junkies, avid blog readers, bloggers, Web 2.0 aficionados, etc. Technology our Client Uses: Ruby on Rails rSpec Capistrano SVN WATIR Textmate Basecamp (Project Management) Campfirenow (Chat) Confluence (Wiki) Here’s What You’ll Get: Mac Laptop Dual Monitors iPod Location: There are three open positions. The hires can be located anywhere in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, PEI or Newfoundland and you must have the ability to work from home and telecommute. Salary: The salary range is in the $42,000 range and the $45/hour range for contractors. If you have more experience, you will be paid more. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible to receive a bonus (Variable Income) of up to 15% of your salary. You’ll also be entitled to benefits.
