Ruby on Rails Developer

Pay: Negotiable

Anzatickets is an early stage mobile/web service which allows an event organiser to sell tickets direct to their customers' mobile phones. We are looking for freelancer, with strong Ruby on Rails skills and experience to be the second member our development team on a short-term contract (with a strong possibility of further work to follow). You will be working remotely and independently, but meeting regularly with the existing team. You will be responsible for a stand-alone element of the project. The project is to deliver an improved billing model for our mobile service based on extensive existing code. The key aim will be to deliver a working prototype in double-quick time. You may need to build a mobile app as part of the project. If you’re interested in working on a very novel idea, and can work quickly and efficiently to execute the brief, you’ll enjoy this project. You must be comfortable operating and communicating with developers and laymen alike. You must also be UK-based and available immediately or in the very near future. If you fancy this challenge please contact us. Required Web Development Skills: • 3+ years experience designing web (including SMS) applications (please provide examples) • Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails, with at least one completed product or project (please provide examples) • Experience of working on financial and billing systems a significant advantage.
