We're building an awesome platform using best of breed technologies including Ruby on Rails, jQuery, MongoDB and others. You'll be working in an agile environment where we focus on keeping things simple and automating as much as possible (from test suites to deployment). Responsibilities - Design, build and test the core components of the new platform - Investigate innovative solutions to platform requirements, thinking outside the box to get things done - Become a leader on the team helping grow and mentor new engineers Requirements: - Minimum of three years applicable software engineering web applications - Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails is a must - TDD experience with cucumber and rspec a must - Experience building RoR plugins or Ruby gems a huge plus - Contribution to open source projects or side projects is a huge plus - Git experience a plus - Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, etc...) a plus - Experience developing APIs a huge plus (or at least love of well designed APIs)
