Job Overview You will be part of one of our agile product teams where PMs, designers and developers are working closely together in a SCRUM process. We strongly believe in Test-Driven Development, have reached a mature level here and achieved a good coverage. Your responsibilities will be: • Work with product managers on architecting new features • Support in building prototypes • Implement user stories • Write test code • Work on scalability and operations chores • Bugfixing (of course ;-)) • Evaluate technologies and 3rd party components • Keep up to date with new developments and proactively suggest improvements regarding technology, standards, best practices Required Skill Experiences The ideal candidate will have the following skills: • Ruby on Rails (Or experience in a similar framework, e.g. Grails) • MySql (Or comparable) • AJAX/JavaScript • XHTML, CSS • Agile methodologies (E.g. SCRUM) • Test-Driven Development (RSpec, Cucumber, Selenium) Note, that Test-Driven Developmen is really important to us.
