Company Confidential Company recently closed a $6M round with top VC firm. Company is unique among early startups; they have 2,000 customers and are cash flow positive; the recent investment finances their growth. Company is headquartered in San Francisco, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, PacBell Park, and the Caltrain station. They have a shuttle that runs every 5-minutes between BART and their site. The product has an elegant, minimalist design implemented in Ruby on Rails. I've got several positions that I'm recruiting for: API Developer - Optimize the performance of REST API for massive scalability - Improve usability of API and widget framework - Minimum 2 years full-time experience with Ruby on Rails development and RESTful programming - Experience with single sign-on technologies, such as SAML and OpenID preferred - BS or MS in Computer Science preferred. Back Office Developer The back office developer will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining company's back office infrastructure and integration of the various business applications, including billing, Google Analytics and Salesforce.com. As a SaaS vendor, data accuracy and the ability to analyze metrics are critical to the company’s success. The back office developer will report to the CTO. - Minimum 2 years full-time experience with Ruby on Rails development and RESTful programming - Ability to design and implement complex software architectures that are robust and massively scalable - Experience with billing and credit card processing - Experience with Salesforce.com desired - Experience with Google AdWords and Analytics desired - BS or MS in Computer Science is preferred. Application Engineer The ideal candidate is a pragmatist who enjoys turning complexity into well structured, scalable and maintainable solutions. You understand the importance of keeping things clean, and know what works and what doesn't. You are confident with *nix and open source databases, and have extensive experience with at least a few of the following technologies (or strong desire to work with them): Memcached, Git/Github, Sphinx, Nanite/RabbitMQ, TMail, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID etc.), Amazon EC2/S3.
