Working in this role you will • Work with our customers – Ruby web developers – to quickly address problems using our products • Show those customers how to use our products to better solve their problems – and to solve problems they didn’t even know they had! • Identify, replicate and document bugs To be considered seriously, you will have • Two or more years of software engineering focused on support issues & bugs • Solid Linux expertise, including experience with different distributions • Experience with various scripting tools and system configurations • Solid and demonstrable Ruby engineering capability • Experience with Rails CM tools like Capistrano, Subverison and Git • Broad knowledge of Rails deployment time technologies • Experience configuring and reproducing failures using different operating systems, plugins, Rails versions, and web front ends. • Experience and comfort with customer interaction And New Relic will provide: • Great benefits (100% of costs of individual medical/dental/vision/life) • Pre-IPO stock options, backed by top-tier VC investment • Eighteen days of paid time off in your first year (AND 10 paid holidays) • Flexible work environment and schedules • Work that will challenge your capabilities
