Pay: Up to £275pd contract, also perm £27k - £35k
We are a small company beginning an exciting journey and we're looking for freelance and permanent developers. We are developing a Rails based application which requires skills through the full web stack. To be successful in this role will require a minimum of 2 years ruby/rails experience and a further 2 years open source web development experience. You must be prepared to commit to mutually agreed timescales, enjoy delivering quality code and have some knowledge of Agile/Scrum as we plan/develop with User Stories and deliver in Sprints. Ideal business experience would encompass billing/financial/ticketing/events. Freelance rates are around £275/day, permanent around £27k-£35k depending on experience/potential. We are happy to work with talented freelance developers based anywhere in the UK who can travel to our offices in Manchester for a number of days per month. Required skills: Ruby, Rails, MySQL, JQuery, Git, Rspec/Cucumber (or other solid testing framework) Nice to Haves: CSS, XHTML, Linux, deployment, mobile development, HTML 5 If this role interests you, please respond with availability and rate/salary expectations.
