Ticketsolve is looking for talented developers to join a small highly talented team. Ticketsolve is developing a SaaS ticketing solution that is going to change the current ticketing landscape. It enables the venue / promoter / artist / team to have more control over their ticketing, a direct relationship with their fans and integrate with the growing number of channels available for ticketing from primary to secondary to social media to fan sites. We have already had significant early success with 40 current clients in the UK and Ireland. These range from venues to ice rinks to football teams. We are now focused on growing internationally and taking on larger volumes and genres. We are now looking to add to the team to help us work on this next set of challenges as we grow our platform and customer base. Culture - agile and lean principles based - pragmatic in nature - responsibility based culture - focused on excellence in execution - driving out inefficiencies and waste Fun Challenges - Modeling a complex domain - Scaling for huge spike demands - Leveraging cloud platforms and virtualization for the above e.g. EC2 - Creating and publishing a Ticketsolve API - Creating a highly customizable system while maintaining usability General Skills - strong coding skills e.g. TDD and refactoring - modeling skills e.g. domain driven design - architecting / building a system for extensibility and scale - self motivated / driven person who takes responsibility for outcomes Specific skills that would be a big plus - RoR - MySql - Flex / Actionscript - Ubuntu / Apache - EC2 / Rightscale Process - Send us: - resume - links to open source projects / pet projects - If their is a match we will make contact for a coding exercise - Interview (typically a 1/2 day) - Offer Location - Dublin, Ireland - Remote working is a possibility
