I own a rails consulting firm SmartLogic based in Baltimore, MD. We work with companies to build the technologies that they are bringing to market. We use an iteration-based approach that emphasizes lean development practices. We’re able to help our clients get to market quickly with the most appropriate feature set and to continue to help them grow their product or service.

I personally am highly involved in the Baltimore technology and business communities. I’m the vocal and spiritual leader of our local Ruby users group Bmore on Rails. I am the co-creator of the Maryland Tech Crawl, a technology show and tell event showcasing the mid-Atlantic’s up and coming entrepreneurs. I am the creator and maintainer of the popular RubyGems timecop and rack-rewrite. Additionally I have contributed to rails, capistrano, gemcutter, shoulda, and factory_girl.
