Working With Rails

I have been developing Web applications primarily using PHP since 2001. I have since begun to focus on Web development with Rails and now use Ruby as much as possible for all scripting tasks.

I am currently working for a small, established, non-technical company that is attempting to launch its first technology product. Thus, my work environment feels more like a start-up than anything else. As such, I spend so much time working on infrastructure that I do not get to spend as much time developing in Rails as I would like.

Fortunately, I am involved (to one degree or another) with the Cincinnati Agile Round Table which has some very bright members, most of which are also “Working with Rails” members. I also have a pet project written in Rails and am in the process of launching a start-up that is too immature to announce just yet.
