I’m an old grey-bearded object programmer. I worked for IBM from 1974 until 2005. I was a prominent member of the Smalltalk/OOPSLA community, serving on the X3J20 Smalltalk language standards commitee as secretary, and kick-started IBMs VisualAge product family.
In my second life after retirement, I’ve discovered Ruby and Rails, a perfect home for an old Smalltalker.
If this hasn’t bored you already, more info is available in my mini-memoirs.
