Working With Rails

I have more than 20 year experience designing and tuning relational databases (Oracle, Informix and MySQL) and for the past 15 years have been building Internet and Intranet sites. In the past this has mainly been in PHP or Perl; but recently I’ve been tooling up in Ruby on Rails and have found it to be not only highly productive; but also highly enjoyable to work with.

In my spare time I enjoy cycling, painting and bird watching. I am a very visual person and am skilled at conceptualizing and then producing a finished product from the vision.
