I have been a programmer since 1998. Prior to that I worked as a visual and information designer with Flash and Photoshop.
My main areas of specialty have been Ruby, Javascript, Perl, Java, and PHP web development as well as Solaris and Linux systems administration. I have a solid foundation in design, including CSS and HTML, which is useful when building web sites.
I don’t consider learning to be limited to one’s university years; I’ve studied philosophy and mathematics officially at institutions of higher learning, but I always strive to be a student of life, Dostoevsky, existential philosophy, and my dog, in no particular order.
