Working With Rails

I started exploring Rails in 2005 when all the hype came out. I built a lightweight CRM with Rails/MySQL for University of Washington in 2005. After hours I began work on Jetrecord.com using Rails/PostgreSQL. In 2008 I started working on Jetrecord full-time. The ease of Rails is the reason I’m able to keep it going as a solo developer, although I wouldn’t mind some help if you’re a flying geek.

I completed a contract gig for a REIT fund in Seattle in early 2009. I’m still adding new features to Jetrecord and writing about that process on my blog: http://harrylove.org/the-building-of-jetrecord as time permits.

I work full-time with Rails as a Senior Software Engineer for PublicEarth in Boulder, Colorado.
