I am a software developer with a background in computer networking and web services. I especially enjoy building rich interaction using JavaScript/jQuery.
In 2007 I co-founded Virosity to build good2gether, a white-label media service which puts content from nonprofits around the US in front of newspaper website audiences. See it live on Boston.com and SFGate. This project involved a large, multi-tiered EC2 deployment, a Solr search component, and a custom CMS for content collection. In addition to core development in both Rails and JavaScript, my roles in this project have included product definition, project management, and representing our client at DEMO 2008.
I’m also a founding member of BetaHouse, a coworking facility serving the web/startup community in and around Boston/Cambridge. We host user group meetings and hackfests, including DevHouse Boston and Refresh Boston.
