I have a large amount of Rails, video, content distribution network and server experience. With respect to Rails I own a web development company and have done over 10 Rails applications from start to finish.

Besides development, I also run a Rails hosting company and am intimately familiar with Rails configuration and deployment. I also created a custom deployment gem (mmmultiworks) to make deployments painless.

I have experience scaling Rails applications both horizontally and vertically. This includes clustering MySQL, Mongrel, Apache.
