I’ve been working with Ruby and Rails doing contract work for over three years, and am now also working full-time with Ruby on Rails. Coming from a Microsoft .Net background, I find the elegance and simplicity of Ruby as a language and Rails as a framework to be refreshing; it allows me to spend time focusing on what counts – the actual functionality of the application.
