After spending several years of professional web development in the PHP realm, I found Ruby on Rails and was hooked. About a year ago I took a full time Rails position with a small startup (talentdatabase.com) and really grew a deep appreciation of the framework there. I recently relocated to NYC to take a position working with a top interactive agency (Organic) in town and am continuing to push forward my skills. My areas of primary interest are creating RESTful API’s, applying TDD, front end architecture, web accessibility and standards, and really any new technology or technique that makes my job more pleasant and enjoyable.
