Currently building an Alarm Notification system for a major telecom. The system manages user preferences and sends out emails,pages, and sms to notify users of alarms that have been tripped.

This is the first ruby/rails project for the group I work with. We are using rails 1.2, Oracle, migrations, interfacing to ActiveDirectory for authentication – We will deploy to production in early 07 – using capistrano, apache + mongrel.
