I have worked on several major rails projects, with some of the best rails developers in Toronto. My most recent Rails project is the premiere carbon calculator platform on the web which I built for zerofootprint.net
I am an expert Ruby developer with an extensive toolbox of gems that I consider myself expert in the use of: Rails, rspec, autotest, vlad the deployer, cache_fu, attachment_fu, parsetree, hpricot, ruby-prof, rdebug, rcov, ferret, and most recently seesaw.
Over the course of my work at Zerofootprint, I’ve built a number of excellent tools that I’ll be releasing as plugins in the last couple of months of 2007: an awesome, fast and extremely flexible localization system, a functional testing dsl for rspec which I demonstrated to the Toronto Ruby Users Group recently, and a completely new take on a resource controller abstraction layer that has worked amazingly for me.
