...Been champing at the bit to use Ruby/Rails since mid-2005: finally got it integrated at work in late 2006. Using it to develop intranet webapps for the migration of data between proprietary formats, with user input to manage some of the dirtier details. Not available for full-time hire, but does consulting work for $50/hr.

Programming in Perl since 2000. Also familiar with Java, C#, ColdFusion, Visual dBase, various incarnations of SQL. ...prefer Ruby to all of them. :) Comfortable on Linux, Windows, and interested in learning MacOS.
