Miles has been following Ruby on Rails since January 2005 after reading a Slashdot article. He was an early adopter, and managed to weasel his name in the 1st edition of Agile Web Development with Ruby on Rails. He also wrote the first Ruby on Rails book review.

Miles has been working for the Chilliwack School District as the District’s sole Web Technologist since June 2007. He’s runs the Fraser Valley Ruby Brigade in British Columbia, Canada, loves his wife and kids, and tolerates his long-haired pug.
