Jarkko Laine is a long-time Rails evangelist and contributor from Tampere, Finland, and co-author of Beginning Ruby on Rails E-Commerce published by Apress in November 2006. In 2008 he wrote the Unobtrusive Prototype ebook for Peepcode.

From 2006 to 2008 Jarkko worked as the lead developer for dotherightthing.com, a web community that will allow people to rate and discuss world’s companies by their social performance.

From 2008 he has been writing Rails code for Wildfire App.
