Neil Wilson is an expert in finance and information systems who has been making computers do as they are told for 25 years.

He founded Aldur Systems (aldur.co.uk) in 1995 as a vehicle for his talents and has worked in a variety of scenarios from small web boutiques to large corporates using skills as diverse as Perl programming, Linux Systems Administration and hand-coded HTML. Recently he has returned to his software development roots and is enjoying himself using the Ruby on Rails framework to create open source web applications.

Neil is a regular contributor to forum boards and blogs such as Motley Fool UK , AccountingWeb and Rails Core on topics as diverse as investment, taxation, and software development. Never afraid of a high profile challenge, Neil has even run a project to overturn UK government legislation in the High Court.
