Ruby/Rails developer wanted

Pay: £35-£45k pa

Tagadab is a new hosting and virtualisation company formed as part of the Claranet group. It has all the advantages of a start-up, including very rapid career advancement and a small, friendly working environment, but with the stability of a £100M parent group. We are looking for a developer to work on new products and our business systems. The MD thinks he can code so you'll have to sort out the mess he makes too. The role will be using RoR but if you have experience with other languages, particularly C, you don't need to have a lot of Ruby experience. If you're bright and learn quickly that's more important to us than years of RoR. If you're interested, get in touch. Don't bother wearing a suit to the interview. RECRUITERS PLEASE NOTE: I do not want to hear from you. I don't care if you have a legion of Ninja coders and have rates so flexible you'll pay me to hire them. If I wanted to use an agency I would have gone to an agency. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES PLEASE NOTE: If I wanted my Rails apps to be developed for me by a 3rd-party company thousands of miles away, would I be paying for ads for in-house developers? Apparently this seemingly obvious question is beyond many of you, so I'll answer it for you: no. Go away.
