Hi, I’m a software developer & Internet culture researcher. I’m co-creator of Know Your Meme, a video series & Internet meme database selected as of TIME Magazine’s Top 50 websites of 2009, and part of the team behind Star Wars Uncut, an Emmy Award-winning fan recreation of Star Wars (2010).

I’m also a founding member of the FAT Lab, an open-source research & development group. In 2007-2008 I taught the Internet Famous class in Parsons graduate design & technology program, in which students’ grades depended on how much Internet traffic they could generate.
