Working With Rails

I’m a computer science major at the University of Kentucky. My experience with Ruby and Rails began at the same time while working at Lexmark International as part of my university’s co-op program, and I’ve since fallen in love. I have also used Rails in personal web projects and in positions at the university. It’s my language du jour and I would love future jobs to incorporate its use.

I come from a background of mostly web development, from 1999 on, with minor experience in Perl, medium experience in C++, and a majority of experience in PHP. I prefer to use Linux, though I’m equally comfortable on OS X.
