Eric Stewart is an software developer in Austin, Texas who is experienced in server, application, and mobile software as well as experience developing accessible web applications.

I was first exposed to Ruby in 2002 and attended RubyConf 2003 in Austin which solidified my interested in Ruby. When Rails eventually appeared I was convinced this is a good set of technologies to use in developing solutions.

I have given a presentation on ActiveRecord Migrations to the Austin Ruby on Rails user group, contributed several plugins to the Rails community, and deployed Rails applications for clients. Today I still use Rails (and Ruby in general) as tools in addition to Java and other technologies.
