Patrick Lenz has been developing web applications for 10 years. Founder and lead developer of the freshmeat.net software portal, he and his company limited overload GmbH were responsible for a major relaunch of eins.de, Germany’s biggest infotainment community, which is now one of the most popular Ruby on Rails sites across Europe.
Patrick is the author of Build Your Own Ruby on Rails Web Application (SitePoint, 2006) and the article series The Adventures of Scaling (poocs.net, 2006).
Furthermore, Patrick occupies the CTO position at storage specialist Topmedia Storage Solutions GmbH in Wiesbaden, Germany.
