Working With Rails

I am a passionated developer, and I love doing this since my first line of code.

I’ve been working in many different projects in the last 4 years, and many different domains as well.

In these 4 years I have mostly worked with JavaScript, Java and Flex and also worked with php in the beginning of my career. My first contact with Ruby and Rails was in the beginning of 2010. It was love at the first sight. Since this important event I’ve been studying and attending different events about the language and the framework a lot, and currently my favorite topic is ruby metaprogramming.

My favorite topics on software development are TDD, OOP and design patterns, and I just started studying DSLs a little more deeply some months ago.

My last ruby/rails project was the development of an website for online card games, including the brazilian most famous card games. And currently I’ve been using ruby and taza for test automation in some projects at ThoughtWorks.

In my spare time I enjoy to study new tecnologies and opensource software, and I’m currently developing a reading tracker application using rails.
