I’m developing software for more than 10 years now. My expertise is deep knowledge across the whole Web-Stack, starting from Linux Administration including Web-Server/DB-Server/Cache-Server/Mail-Server Production Systems over developing Server-Side J2EE/Rails/PHP/Perl/SQL up to Client-Side HTML/CSS/Javscript/jQuery and UI-Development/Prototyping. All this knowledge comes from reading lots of technical books (at least one per month!), visiting conferences (at least 2-3 per year) and working as team-leader or single-person-developer on interesting projects professionally.
