openDemocracy.net —Technical Architect and Software Developer for 4+ years. Was running on a bespoke Java based CMS for a few years, then I was involved in moving the platform over to Drupal.
ChinaDialogue—ChinaDialogue is a Chinese-English bilingual website reporting on environmental issues within China. This was my first Rails site developed in 2006.
The site is unique, as it helps promote dialogue between English and Chinese speaking audiences. All comments posted on the site are translated into either English or Chinese.
thenag.net—The Nag helps people to do one thing a month to help the environment, the situation of 3rd world farmers and most other things which allow for a sustainable future.
I was part of a team of two programmers who developed this site using Rails.
White Jewel—Whitejewel is a Muslim Hajj and Umrah agent based in the UK who help people do pilgrimages to the Holy land of Makkah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
This site was redeveloped using Rails. An online Umrah quote generator has also been developed which has not been done before in the industry.
I am always looking to get involved in interesting Rails projects around the world. Please feel fee to contact me if you have any opportunities.
