Senior Developer at http://RoadAngels.com Developed from scratch a new social network. Specific feature of this network – the ability to create a pair of drivers (with partner search in specified geographic sector) and search with possibility of assistance request to this pair from users within specified region. Also in administrative part – the creation and management of email accounts (PostgreSQL+Postfix), creation and management of mailing lists, import from .XLS/.CSV restaurants and nightclubs for directory, etc. Integrated Jabberserver (modified for own needs ejabberd) with authentication, vcard, contacts and groups, avatar using existing profile. Wordpress integration: template generation on rails side, integrated authentication (single sign-in). Configured production/stage server (ubuntu, PostgreSQL+PostGIS, nginx+passenger+ree+php-fcgi, Postfix+Dovecot+PostgreSQL). Configured Capistrano for deployment in production and stage environments, Crontab via Capistrano. Senior Developer (part-time) at Usefall.com (in testing / revision stage, currently open only for developers). Developed an internet auction in a team of three programmers. Configured production/stage server (ubuntu, MySQL, nginx+passenger+ree, redmine, MySQL-backup using Dropbox). Specifically developed: user backend, HopToad-integration, Zendesk-integration, PayPal-integration. Configured Capistrano, redmine. Technologies: Rails 2.3.5, Git, thinking-sphinx, juggernaut, authlogic, delayed_job, haml+sass, jQuery.

11/08 – 05/10

Senior Developer, Team Leader, System Architect at Reklamaport. * Redeveloped a free online classified ads portal (http://212.ua) on Rails: whole architecture, about 70% of code. The system is designed to work simultaneously with multiple domains, each of whom has extensive configuration capabilities (supported languages, a set of properties and their linkage, choice of main property to navigate, select the properties to participate in the filtration); used commercial XML-database to store ads, full-text search and count the number of ads with certain feature values. Installed and configured Development/QA environment: Git, MySQL, nginx+mongrel-cluster, Redmine, CruiseControl.rb, Capistrano. Installed and configured production servers: MySQL master-master replication, heartbeat, GlusterFS, Nginx+Passenger+Ruby Enterprise Edition (balanced via round-robin + heartbeat), mrtg. Previously was partially rewritten existing spaghetti-like PHP code with Zend Framework for better performance and scalability, caching.

Senior Developer, Team Leader at Trustename.* Completely rewritten existing project (search advertising network http://www2.admanage.com/client/, which works on cluster of 30+ servers with balancer) for better performance and implementing new features in cooperation with five developers teams. Used technologies, methodologies and tools: PHP/Zend Framework, MySQL master-slave replication, APC for script compilation and data caching, OLAP, partial UnitTesting.

05/07 – 06/08

Senior Developer at Ciklum (Agnitio). Worked on online tool for creating, management and playback of presentations in flash application (http://agnitio.com/cms/website.php?id=/en/products/clmsoftware.htm). Developed from scratch all server code, including php classes for remote use (AMFPHP used for RPC); Python server for chatting/transfering binary objects; Python service for sending mail; Python+Ant scripts for automatic flex building/php testing, creating tgz builds, etc. Installed and configured 2 linux servers for development & testing; added few small improvements in Trac. From March 2008 in cooperation with junior developer.

07/06 – 04/07

Senior Developer, Team Leader at Bondus. Worked on online videosharing service (http://web.archive.org/web/20070429234641/http://sharkle.com/), online tool for video edit. Developed from scratch framework for backend part; written about 3/4 backend modules (PHP+PostgreSQL). Developed from scratch framework and about a half modules for frontend part of satellite projects with lesser functionality, which are used by third companies for fast creation own videosharing service (PHP+MySQL+AJAX+Perl). Written service and supporting scripts for remote video converting (Python+MySQL). From 2 to 5 developers/junior developers in team.

11/05 – 06/06

Senior Developer, Team Leader at Astra Trading. Developed clone of http://www.templatemonster.com/ with two-tier referral system, widgets, integration with PayPal and Moneybookers. Also, implemented a system for rapid deployment of satellite sites (doorways) for this project. A lot of small web projects. Developed own CMS for this projects (e-commerce, entertainment, small sites). PHP+MySQL, sometimes – Perl. Linux administration. Up to 4 developers in team.

09/03 – 11/05 Freelancer. Various development (PHP, Perl, MySQL, C/C++).
