Working With Rails

While my programming background originally/academically consisted of working with C++ and the MS Windows API, I began working with Ruby, specifically with Ruby on Rails, in May 2010, for the Calabasas, CA-based mobile donation/software company Mobilecause (I had three EXCELLENT co-workers/mentors who also happen to be members of this community—Paul Cortens, Austin Schneider, and Matt Petty).

Although I’m continually interested in expanding my knowledge of RoR development, I am also quite interested in general Ruby coding/development, and would like to see the language’s usage extend far beyond Rails.

Feel free to email me to about any fun/interesting side-projects that need contributors. Although I am currently employed as a RoR developer full time, if it’s really creative/ground-breaking (or potentially $$-making) stuff, I may be apt to hop onboard.
