I work in the Software Development Department of the University since 2 years ago. We make Desktop Apps and Web Apps for the University. Before I started working here the Web Apps were made with JSP, but I introduced the idea of using Ruby on Rails and now all the new Web Apps are built with RoR, and some of the already existing ones are being ported to RoR. The first one we made with RoR was http://catalogobiblioteca.uap.edu.ar/ one year and a half ago.
