- M.Sc. on Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology (2007)
- Worked in the software industry since 2005 (first part-time, later full-time)
- Worked as a part-time teacher (mainly teaching C++) in the University between 2004-2006
- I started out as a mobile developer, working mainly on Symbian C++ but also J2ME, Android and also some Java development (including my Master’s Thesis).
- I’ve been working solely on RoR projects for the past two years.
- Experience on large-scale, Oracle-based reporting/data warehousing work, using RoR as the frontend for serving reports.
- I’m an experienced practitioner of BDD (RSpec+Cucumber) and Scrum (3+ years of experience from proper Scrum projects).
- I work in a young, energetic Finnish Software company, Leonidas, which specializes in rapid product development and agile methods.
