My educational focus and first employment opportunity was in Embedded Systems and Logic Design with Verilog. I enjoy working with Assembly language, and designing around very low level system constraints. This experience has guided my way into learning Rails since early 2008.

I am knowledgeable of the entire Rails stack, from system administration to the UI (CSS, JS, even Flash AS3). My skill set is broad, but I am most proficient with back end development. I love long running background tasks, data gathering, API design, and sockets.

I am currently on contract and unavailable for new positions at this time.
