Working With Rails

I am a Computer Engineer, graduated from SDSU. I started working with a Quality Assurance third-party testing company certifying applications on Qualcomm’s Brew handsets. Worked as a Supervisor/Lead for 15 QA Engineers. I then moved to Torrance to work as a Producer for a mobile application publishing company. Through out my years working as a Supervisor and Producer, I kept my skills as an engineer and worked on a lot of small applications with scripting languages such as PHP then moving more towards Ruby. On my last year as a Producer in Torrance I helped develop some PHP features with our company intranet. In 2008, I then decided to focus more on Ruby on Rails since I had developed a passion for the framework and started building larger-scale applications. I am a great advocate of the many tricks you can create with the Ruby programming language. I then did some contract work for a Travel and Tours company, building their online website in Ruby, and then worked with The CR Studio, a digital marketing company in San Diego, providing my Ruby skill-set to develop backend logic for desired applications.
