I have 7 years of software experience, but for the past 2 years I’ve exclusively been running my own business based on Ruby-on-Rails and MySQL. Since we are a startup in the truest terms, I was initially responsible for everything from the UI to the database and everything in between. HTML, CSS, Javascript (JQuery), Ruby, SQL, I’ve done the whole stack and experienced enough problems in each layer to feel pretty confident developing and debugging in every realm (Also we’ve been using git for version control and capistrano for deployment).

I prefer agile environments, and I’m a TDD/BDD enthusiast.
