I’m an Irish expat, living in Melbourne for four years now, with the intention of becoming an Australian citizen as I have a lot of roots here.

I’ve been working as a Ruby developer for over a year at Envato, a crowd who’ve built such websites as activeden.net, themeforest.net, graphicriver.net and videohive.net. Although I’ve been largely focussed on Rails, I also have a fair bit of experience with ruby microframeworks.

My previous commercial programming experience was in .NET 2 and 3.5 for three years.
