Working With Rails

Since early spring of 2009, I have begun to dive into ruby and rails. I currently work on my skills in rails on the side, while working at a marketing firm in Toronto as a web developer. It is currently an interest for me, and I hope down the road Ruby on Rails will become more of a professional part of my career. I have worked on a couple different side projects involving rails. One for students to sell used books, another as a wireframing application.

My current job involves using in-house technologies and a CMS to build SEM and SEO solutions, as well as the occasional small landing page site for various clients. I build templates using proper HTML & CSS, jQuery for a more advanced front end, and some C# code for when I need server side interaction.
