Working With Rails

I have been professionally developing websites since 2008. I first developed for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as an undergraduate, and now for Software For Good.

• I tailor projects based on client specific requests and parameters.

• I build accessible web applications using a variety of databases, test-driven development, REST, and single sign-on authentication.

• I have developed a training workshop registration system that provides service to thousands of students, staff and faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

• I have also developed a system to document and provide a link between the Eau Claire community and UWEC for community service opportunities.

I graduated in May of 2010 with a B.S. in Computer Science, Comprehensive (ABET accredited) and a minor in Political Science. I am an Eagle Scout and I have studied abroad and lived in Guangzhou, China. I firmly believe in lifelong learning and am looking forward to moving forward professionally and personally.
