Hmm… Where do I start? I am currently finishing my B.S. in Comp. Sci at Yale, and when not attending classes I sing, play french horn, and design websites. I also enjoy acting, sailing, and juggling (all at the same time, of course).
I am a rails developer and activist, and have been at it for a couple years now. I’ve read many arguments both for and against Rails, and as far as I see it, the great ideas behind Rails should be applied to all web-based applications, regardless of the underlying language.
Most of my Rails experiences have involved an application internal to Yale departments that tracks work shifts and payforms. However, we will soon be coming out with a public release (!), so stay tuned. I have been a developer for this project since the beginning (two years now), so I’m pretty excited.
I am interested in pursuing both Computer Science and arts-related fields in the future (perhaps in combination). While I have worked on a few freelance jobs, I’m still a student and won’t be available for full-time hire until next year (at the very earliest).
