Software engineer digging the Ruby and Rails technology having developed applications for around 3 decades in various languages as they’ve evolved over this time. Feel RoR is the leader when it comes to agile development and, especially, BDD which is an area of extreme interest to me having directed and taught agile courses, including executable requirements with FitNesse (though Cucumber is now my preferred tool).
Applications I have developed or have made major contributions to over the years include Wolfpack, Aspen Graphics, SiteScope, Newsgator, Webroot Enterprise Spy Sweeper and more.
I feel we are only getting started with Rich Internet Applications and that we’ve potentially abstracted the concepts at too low of a level (I mean, we still write HTML and CSS instead of panels, dialogs, menus and more).
