I test

All code I’ve written this year has a decent test coverage, and now I’m moving towards BDD – having used RSpec in two commercial projects and getting used to Cucumber on a pet project.

My favorite quote from The Rails Way is: Wilson says… Writing applications without tests makes you a bad person, incapable of love.

I debug

Everybody likes to build cathedrals from scratch, but I also actually enjoy picking up where others left off, diving into code, getting the big picture, tracking bugs. I avoid Big Rewrites and build upon existing code.

Reliable e-Commerce

Recently built an e-commerce application (recurring credit card payments through Authorize.net) and now I’m maintaining three installations: monitoring security logs, testing performance with NewRelic etc.

I’m a long-time Linux user, also doing VPS administration for Rails projects (Passenger, Postfix).

Experienced

One of my greatest strengths is a rich background. In previous life I was a:
