Ruby On Rails Development/Applications Architecture Experience: • Experience as an end-to-end application/web architect responsible for every single part of the project including defining requirements, establishing project plan, architecting the system, setting up the infrastructure, coding it myself to completion and integrating with necessary third parties, including documentation and testing. • Strong real world experience architecting, designing, developing, enhancing, maintaining and supporting new internal systems, programs and web applications, including e-commerce, marketing, tracking, reporting, subscriber management, content management and more. • Proven track record in rapidly delivering software in an incremental fashion. • Excellent problem solving skills to analyze situations and devise solutions quickly. • Proactively devise methods for making operations more productive, efficient, secure and cost effective from a technological perspective. • Strong experience in Ruby on Rails development, TextMate on MacOS X, MySQL and SQLite • Strong experience of CSS, HTML, JavaScript and AJAX web application development. • Experience in test-driven development using automated tests and create tools that will verify and validate system requirements and functionality. • Ability to performance-tune and scale high-traffic websites. • Motivated self-starter with ability to mentor and teach others, able to work both independently and with a collaborative team. • Understanding of web security concepts such as SQL injections, XSS, CSRF, etc. • Experience deploying and launching multiple real-world applications some of which were envisioned, designed and developed from scratch (FunduSearch.com, AgileCircle.com).
