Went to Univeristy of Wales, Aberystwyth, and studied Software Engineering. Learned Java as part of the course, learned RoR for fun! Wrote dissertation using Rails.

Since starting paid employment, have delved into the murky world of eigenclasses and plugins, and spent some free time looking at Ruby’s feasibility for desktop apps, online desktop-replacement apps, and more recently Android applications using Mirah
