Working With Rails

First started working with rails after reading a blog about this new poduct that Jeff Veen was working on. He didn’t give the details, but said it used something called Ruby on Rails. I checked it out and was blown away with the framework and the language. Later, it turned out the product was MeasureMap which was short-lived. Google bought it and rolled it into Google Analytics.

For the past five years I have used ruby/rails/sinatra to deploy client projects and build prototype applications.

I currently manage a team of developers, designers, and content strategists at Luckie. We are Alabama’s largest advertising agency and largest rails shop. We partner with EngineYard, Heroku, and Hashrocket.
